Path being overtaken by hedges
Reported via mobile in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 12:52, Saturday 17 July 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The perimeter path skirting the railway between Cow Lane rail bridge and the turn where the pylons cross is partially overgrown in places and reduced both in available width and height. Some of the shrubery extending at face height includes thorny plants.
Please see attached photo collage from this morning. This path is regulaly used by walkers, commuters, runners and from Saturday parkrunners again.
The path and shrubery along the path is owned and managed in parts by both OCC and SODC; therefore would you please request that all the various department and contractors prioritise a trim to recover the full width of the path for pedestrian use and also to ensure that a reasonable clear height without the dangerous thorny branches encroaching into the route.
