Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The problem of a blocked drainagepipe has benn reporteed several times before. It was marked up with white paint, but the markwas soon worn away. No work was done. The whole cycle was repeated. The third time the lane was marked with blue marks, including the one on the tree. Those on the road were soon eroded away. Still no work has been done. The woodland to the east of the lane now floods regularly. The water flows out over the road, flooding it. The verges, that are not maintained at public expense, are badly damaged with deep puddles, as a result of traffic having to use the verge because of the narrowness of the lane.

My wife and I have owned this part of the lane in Little Chesterton and the land on east of it since 2017 and the land to the west since 2007. There has been a long history of flooding in Little Chesterton, but the increase on the intensity of storms has greatly increased the problem that we have reported over the past few years.
