Parking on Zebra crossing

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:42, Thu 15 July 2021

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Vehicles are parking on zebra crossing zigzag lines and obstructing the crossing. The crossing needs railings either side to prevent this. There also needs to be some sort of railing to stop children or people on bikes running up the ramp onto the crossing, this is a massive blind spot for drivers. This really is a concern as this crossing is a major school link and every day there are near misses. I have also informed Victoria Premtis MP about this situation.

  • Got a reply that stated it's up to the Police to sort these matters out and that Highways would look at it, Victoria Prentice has written as well aware of the matter now. Just put railings up for the pedestrians sake.
