Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This tree has been reported and had 5 branches cut off. According to my neighbours you sent a man and woman team to deal with this tree. Your team left the area very untidy, and the tree still hangs over my property, is far too high blocking light from my house. The disabled lady next door is unhappy when having to pass tree as tree/bushes encroaching path. We have looked after this tree and bushes for years, but it has now all got out of hand. We are all in our late 60’s and unable to maintain the area. After the initial inspection I was happy that the job would be done. After the tree was cut last week an inspector came to look at the site and indicated to my neighbour that he was not happy with the work carried out. Myself and neighbours are all unhappy about the way the site has been left and the tree has not been cut lower and shaped more professionally. Myself and my husband were not in on the day this work was carried out, but two neighbours did witness the work carried out, by an unprofessional couple!!!!!

Tree in Caldicott Close I recently witnessed 2 people cutting back a tree in Caldicott Close. I had hoped that as a result of the council intervening to cut back overhanging branches and bushes that the pathway would be clear and the tree left in a tidy state. It appeared to me that speed rather than quality of work was uppermost in the minds of those working on the tree. I have a disability and the overhanging bushes are encroaching increasingly on the path. As a close we have all tried to maintain the trees and bushes over the past 20 years or more. As we have now reached later life I feel a good use of our local council tax must be keeping the general living areas tidy but also safe.

This tree is still causing a problem and has not been cut back enough. The team that first attempted it left it in a very untidy state and as reported already , seems to have only had 5 branches cut. Still overhangs my property and as reported by my neighbour, who has a disability, drops it’s leaves and sycamore seeds over the foot path making it a danger to walk on. Please can it be reduced considerably as blocks light and overhangs my land. Thank you

We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. We have instructed our contractors to carry out works to the tree described in the enquiry. These works will be undertaken in the coming weeks.
Many Thanks For your enquiry.
