  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map in Opposite Sand Stones, Evelyn Close and couldn't find the 'moss, leaves and uneven surface' you were referring to.

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map in Opposite Sand Stones, Evelyn Close and couldn't find the 'moss, leaves and uneven surface' you were referring to. However, looking at your location description, I see that you are referring to the 'The pavement in Third Acre Rise between No 20 and No 14', see all photos.

  • Thank you for your report. I have assessed this section of footway's 'uneven surface' you refer to, see photos, and the small defects I did find unfortunately don't meet our current intervention criteria so I cannot arrange a repair. We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.

    In reply to your comment regarding the 'moss, leaves' on the pavement. This issue is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. Street cleaning (including leaves and moss caused by the decomposing leaves) from the footway and carriageway is the responsibility of the Vale of White Horse District Council.
