Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The pavement is overgrown with bushes and trees and very difficult for elderly people to negotiate- it is opposite a retirement complex Fleur de Lis and most residents use mobility scooters or walking sticks or walkers - the pavement is very narrow and has now become impassable

Elderly people using walkers or mobility scooters have to go on a very busy road, having to leave the pavement as the path is so overgrown- they are not very mobile and this is causing problems

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site you pinpointed on the map, B4017 Wootton Road, opposite Fleur de Lis retirement complex and John Mason school, see photos. Due to the fact that this vegetation appears to have been cut back already, see photos, it unfortunately, doesn't meet our current intervention criteria, I therefore cannot arrange a repair. This report has now been closed, however, we will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections.
If you notice that the issue gets worse, please open a new report. Find out more about highway repairs and how we assess risk https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ residents/ roads-and-transport/ street-maintenance-z/ road-repairs
