Obstruction to public highway
Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:53, Wednesday 7 July 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
The property on the corner of Bell Lane and Bell Street, is storing its Waste bins and the entrance to Bell Lane. The occupiers of the property has also installed Large planters that block a large proportion of the entrance to Bell Lane. This is a public highway and should be kept clear. Bin Lorries can not fit down the road and the workers have to walk down the road to empty bins. Fire Engines would also not be able fit down the road. This could cause danger to Bell Lane residents.

On todays visit I was unable to find bins restricting the entrance. Please can you contact the local district council should you wish to report further ,as this is a district function. As regards to the planters being close to the boundary wall, currently there is the minimum 2.5m clearance which we require for access. We will continue yo monitor this location however no further action is required at present.
