Fence encroaching on footpath

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 07:58, Wednesday 7 July 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The boundary fence adjacent to the foot/cycle path is bulging out towards the road. This is reducing the available area of footpath/cycle path. It is only a matter of time before the fence breaks and falls onto the footpath. When this does happen there will be nowhere for pedestrians and cyclists to go other than onto the busy A40 carriageway as there is no grass verge at this point between the path and the busy A40. There is an incline on this stretch of road and it will not be long before cyclists travel downhill at speed on this stretch of cyclepath in the dark as there are no street lights on this stretch. Please can this be remedied before the fence fails and falls onto the path. Thank you.
