Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:45, Sunday 4 July 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
A tree has come down across the footpath North of Abingdon lock (on the South side of the River Thames). See photo. Is passable with care, although buggies etc are having issues at the moment. Will be more of an issue one parkrun restarts later in July with 500 runners due along this footpath. Position on map is approximate.

The central branches (as shown in the photo) blocking the footpath have now been removed allowing easy access along the footpath. The tree itself remains down and curving across the footpath (as shown in the photo), and will no doubt need to be removed at some point, but general access is now mostly OK.
