Road blocked

Reported via mobile in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 15:14, Tue 29 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

While trying to get to Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital I was stopped from using Margaret Road by two volunteers who stated they were entitled to that under powers granted them by Oxford County Council. I would like somebody to enlighten me as to what powers they were using and where they drew their authority to block the highway.

  • They are making the area around the school safer at start and finishing times. Limiting the amount of passing traffic can only be a good to protect the young children. Maybe stick to the main roads!
