Projecting iron works x 2 caused significant damage to 2 tyres and one wheel.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
There are 2 raised ironworks/vents/drains on the roadside immediately below the verge at the back of Watlington Park on the road to Christmas Common, opposite the Wellhouse. The road is too narrow for a large vehicle (a lorry) and a car to pass, so one vehicle has to pull over . These two huge, sharp, projecting ironworks are unavoidable if pulling into the kerb/verge on that side. Very dangerous and hazardous. On 3.6.21 a lorry coming the other way - from the direction of Stokenchurch- caused me to have to pull over, I couldn't avoid the ironworks, and both my passenger-side tyres of were gashed beyond repair, I was stranded and one wheel was very badly damaged and could not be replaced on the car until it had been sent away to be repaired. The whole thing cost me £341.88 plus 3 hours of work - £75 - (I am self employed). I have receipts for the tyres and the wheel. I wish to claim these costs from SODC.
