Trespassers on the No Through Road

Reported via desktop anonymously at 17:06, Thursday 24 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later

A number of regular individuals have taken to using the No through road at all times of the day. They are not resident or workers on it. Speeds exceed the speed limit, and motorcades blaring loud music at dangerous speed have become more regular fixtures at night.

Electric retractable bollards must be implemented to allow residents, workers, delivery drivers and farm vehicle operators access to the road. Whilst preventing use by non-permitted individuals.

These changes would also benefit cyclists, as it is otherwise a popular route, and were it better connected would be an excellent segregated option for cyclists wanting to avoid the poorly surfaced Hobby Horse lane connecting Sutton Courteney.
