Road drainage in Rousham Road blocked between Ashwell bank Lane and Nethercote Road

Reported via desktop in the Drainage category by Robin Gregory at 19:57, Tuesday 22 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As demonstrated by a engineer working on the SuDs infrastructure on the Barwood Estate the road drain outside number 6 and those to the Nethercote Road junction are blocked and therefore unable to take away surface water. As you are aware Nethercote Road suffered serious flooding in December 2020 with two houses left uninhabitable and ingress in the cottages along the terrace where many ground floors are lower than the road. Currently therefore any excess surface water from further up Rousham Road and Crecy Hill are not entering the drainage system.
