Grass to long to see wooden fence which has then caused damage to my car when clearing the road for a police car.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This morning at 11.20 I was getting out the way for a police car, so I had slowed down already and then drive up on what I thought was a grass verge. Only to hit a wooden small fence in the overgrown grass which you couldn’t see at the beginning of Dunstan Road on the left when driving towards the hospital. The grass is clearly too long and my car has now been damaged due to this. Please contact me on email@example.com regarding this. The first photo is of my car the second is the one my sister took of the grass further down the road, as you can see you can’t see the wooden fence at all.

I got an email asking where exactly this happens this is my reply just incase you don’t get the email. I don’t drive to Oxford often and I’m only doing it now as my sister has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer last week. I have told you the road and my sister took a picture further down the road of another example of overgrown grass and not being able to see the wooden fence. All I can tell you is that it was closer to the beginning / middle of the road as the pic was closer to the hospital. It was the road you turn off to get into the hospital. We turned right if that helps into the hospital.
Please keep me updated.
