Ash Die Back

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 15:13, Tuesday 22 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I reported a case of Ashe Die Back just outside our drive on the council maintained verge - and have a reply saying the tree is on ground maintained by us. This isn't true. In fact a number of years ago we had to move a fence temporarily erected while building our home after a visit from the enforcement officer to be behind (that is to say the property side of the trees.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The overhanging trees present are on land maintainable by the adjacent landowner and not by the County Council. We have sent correspondence to the landowner, detailing the problem and advising that they carry out remedial works to resolve the situation.

    Many Thanks for your enquiry.
