68 Mill Street, Witney has a large willow tree in their back garden which is considerably overhanging the public footpath. You have to physically duck to avoid it now. They also have a large line tree too which is doing similar and is hanging down very near to the river now.

  • I cut the vegetation hanging down over the path on the afternoon of 20 June. Perhaps OCC could work with Number 68 to cut the offending limb from the tree.

  • We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. The trees present are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense by OCC in the County‚Äôs capacity as local highway authority. The trees are on land that is maintainable by the Local Town Council and not by the County Council. We endeavour to transfer this enquiry to them; however, you may also wish to contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.
