There are cars parked in the layby all day and now vehicles are dropping off ag the end of the path to doctors surgery which causes a very narrow distance between the vehicles large lorries cannot get through. please highlight the zigzag alongside the pavement and make the middle line much longer heading westwards.

Thank you for your enquiry with regards to vehicles using the parking bays in Tyne Avenue. As you may be aware there is no time limit for vehicles to be parked in this location so, as long as the vehicles are parked sensibly, this wouldn't be a cause for concern. Where individual drivers choose to drop off passengers should take account of their immediate location and other road users. Responsibility for this remains with the driver whereby instances of poor or hazardous choice can be best advised by your local Police Community Support Officer.
