Very overgrown verges on both sides of the path

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category by Kirk Smith at 15:22, Thursday 17 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Very overgrown verges on both sides of the path between roundabouts (Loop Farm to The Turnpike). Difficult for cyclists/pedestrians to pass/overtake, see around corners because of how high vegetation is and how it's leaning into the path.

Council ref: ENQ21897789

  • In 2021, the County Council will carry out one general cut a year across the whole of the county's road network.
This includes visibility splays at junctions and grass verges one metre back from the kerb.
At present, we are unable to give exact dates for individual areas, as this year’s program is currently being assembled, however, we are dealing with visibility splay sites in accordance with safety requirements of individual sites as they are reported to us (or observed by Highway Officers).
    Thank you.
