Overgrown verges

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 20:28, Friday 11 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The verges all along this road are overgrown and need cutting back. There are a few parishioners who walk to and from work along this road as they don't have a car. Without this being cut back, they are in danger.

Council ref: ENQ21897216

  • In 2021, the County Council will carry out one general cut a year across the whole of the county's road network. This includes visibility splays at junctions and grass verges one meter back from the kerb.
At present, we are unable to give exact dates for individual areas, as this year’s program is currently being assembled, however, we are dealing with visibility splay sites in accordance with safety requirements of individual sites as they are reported to us (or observed by Highway Officers).
    Thank you.
