This almost had me off my motorcycle! PLEASE GET THIS FIXED BEFORE SOMEONE GETS INJURED! I have put this back in on two occasions and I keep finding it out again, sometimes on the road surface, sometimes dropped in. Either way it is potentially lethal to cyclists and motorcyclists.

  • As of the 14th June it is still off and as show in the existing photo. It only needs to be hot by a cyclist or motorcyclist before there will be fatality.

  • The THAMES WATER cover has been put in place but it bounces with each vehicle. Lorry’s and trucks flip it out or dislodge it in. THIS COVER MUST BE REPLACED NOT JUST PUT BACK IN.

  • This morning at 7am cyclist was sitting on the verge having come off after hitting the open hole! This was predicted! Luckily he wasn't hurt and his bike survived. He was very shaken though.
