The pavement here has crumbled away

Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 19:28, Friday 4 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The pavement between the Southampton street junction and Boots chemist has completely crumbled away leaving a gritty, uneven surface that is slippery and dangerous. Today I saw a woman lose her footing and fall , luckily she did not appear to be badly injured, but had grazed her knee and hands. All of the pavements around the Market Place are in a similar condition and indeed, I fell earlier in the week outside Las Chicas bar. The pavements were surfaced with a resin and then top dressed with 6mm grit. It did look very nice when this was first laid but now makes the Market Place a treacherous place for pedestrians, especially when it is wet or icy.
