Flood water directly to my door via lowered krbs

Reported via mobile by Robin Gregory at 21:19, Thursday 3 June 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

Good morning, I am not sure who sent in this initial request but as I stated in my email Nethercote road suffered its worst flooding for many years in late December 2020. Two houses are still uninhabitable. I am at no 11 on the terrace where many of the ground floors are lower than the road. These lowered kerbs allow the flood water to be directed straight to our front doors all along the terrace and exacerbated by the bow waves from passing cars. My neighbours and I request that these lowered kerbs be reinstated to provide some protection to our properties before this happens again which it is bound to occur with the problems caused by the new housing estate behind and the failure of its SUDS system. As it appears that there has been no progress on this request since February it would be good to talk to someone about resolving this issue Thank you Robin Gregory 11 Nethercote Road Tackley OX5 3AW 07878985601 01869331697
