1 pothole approximately 1ft Square and 3 inches deep. 2nd pothole 2ft long x 2"wide but quite deep
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 18:31, Tue 1 June 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Both potholes have been getting larger over the last few months. The largest one has been reported previously but wasn't large enough for repair, when one within 1ft was mended. As it is now potentially causing damage to tyres of vehicles driving over it. Especially those of the house holder whose drive it is at the end of and people in my household. It is also dangerous for other road users especially cyclists.

Report first made on 1st June. Pothole marked up on Saturday 24th July, it’s now Friday 27th August and no one has been out to action a repair. This is also the same on Oaksmere and Town Furlong. The markings are beginning to fade see photos above. Initial mark up on left, today’s on the right. Please advise when all our marked up potholes in the parishes of Appleton with Eaton and Besselsleigh will be repaired. Thank you

Well we are now 27th October 2021 and the potholes still haven’t been fixed. Exactly 2 months since I sent an update and approximately 5 months since the original report of 1st June 2021. Last week you sent 2 lorries, 4 men to fill 1 pothole on Oaksmere. Unfortunately as normal the crews weren’t allowed to fill any potholes other than the ones on their sheet. One crew did kindly put uneven road surface signs up. I’m wondering is that all that will happen. I will forward this updated report to our parish council and also to our County Councillor Juliette Ash just so they are aware of the ongoing situation.
