Grass verges

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 12:51, Monday 24 May 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 hours, 6 minutes later

A posting was made last week, querying the cutting of grass verges on our estate. It asked if the verges were uncut because the new initiative of No Mow May had been adopted. An answer was sent, saying that cutting of verges was not the responsibility of OCC but of Abingdon Town Council. This reply is incorrect. While ultimately verges are the responsibility of OCC, being part of the highway, I find you have delegated this function to the Vale DISTRICT Council. A member of the public should not have to correct information sent by a local council.
