No road markings to indicate right of way

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 14:18, Sunday 23 May 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

As there are no road markings several residents of the meadow way have been joining new road without checking both ways and giving way to cars in new road. It needs rectifying as children play here and it's an issue that has other residents thinking that an accident is waiting to happen please investigate.

  • Thank you for your report. We would not apply give way markings on what is essentially a cul de sac, where there should only be local low speed traffic and residents should be aware of the layout and any alleged dangers. If you have speeding vehicles in this location you need to contact either your local Speedwatch Group or Thames Valley Police who deal with speed enforcement.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
