The road surface has sunk ( possible sink holes?) in several places along this stretch. As this one outside number 46 is close to the pavement where school children are walking daily, there is clear danger as the puddle hides the amount that the road has dipped and can throw a car off course if someone is unfamiliar with it.

The sunken area has been there for at least a year, but has possibly not been reported before as many of the residents are elderly on this stretch. It is a very dangerous situation particularly with so many children accessing Gillotts school on this route where the edge of the pavement has also collapsed. The pavement is used on a daily basis by both elderly residents with unsure footing and many school children.
