Good afternoon.

There is an alleyway that cuts between West Street and Upper Market Place, Gravel Hill next to the fire Station in Henley on Thames.

In that alleyway next to the fire tower is a small patch of land that used to have a tree planted on it with a cage around it.

The tree has long since died but the cage is still there leaving the area looking uncared for.

The Henley in Bloom Committee, which is a Henley Town Council Committee has been approached several times by residents wanting to know if the area can be replanted, some even offering to do the replanting.

We know that as it is next to the fire tower another tree cannot be planted there but would like to either arrange for OCC to remove the cage and replant with shrubs and plants, or give permission for Henley Town Council to do so.

I look forward to hearing from you.
