Road Surface breaking up and multiple Pot Holes
Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category by Cllr Nathan Boyd at 08:41, Monday 17 May 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
For a stretch of around 300m from The junction in Woolstone up the hill, the road surface is breaking up causing multiple, dangerous potholes. There is also water flowing down the road from a ditch, making erosion worse. An urgent inspection of this section of road is required. Dangerous for all road users, especially cyclists or any vehicle in icy conditions.

I have reported the road surface disintegrating at this location several times but have just been informed that it has been assessed as unsuitable for repair. I don't understand this decision as the road is falling apart and is a myriad of potholes. How bad does it have to get before it becomes repairable. Try riding a bike over it!

This section of road is getting worse. Hardly any tarmac surface just a collection of potholes. I suggest someone from the Highways Dept tries riding a bike over it without putting their lives at risk. Please take some responsibility for the safety of all road users. This section of road is not fit for purpose.
