Drain blocked with soil/mud. This is on Squires Walk opposite number 12.

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 21:10, Sun 16 May 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Area has been flooding for at least 6 months. Surface water (around 3 inches deep) extends across lane and is dangerous to pass especially for pedestrians. Passing cars cause water to wash against adjacent properties.

Council ref: ENQ21894746

Asset ID: 290088519

  • Drain still blocked. Grill for drain is now barely visible due to build up of dirt from repeated flooding. Several residents have to paddle through dirty puddle to access cars. Again, this is on Squires walk, outside number 12 - Coachmakers Cottage. The drain is blocked solid.

  • Drain still blocked on Squires Walk. Still opposite number 12. Still flooding across lane. Still impassable when it rains. Coming up to 18 months now. Any chance it can be unblocked? Would be great for passing foot traffic not to have to wade through on way to doctors or school. It would be a real treat. Thanks.
