  • Hi, thank you for your enquiry. The criteria is based on whether the vegetation is overhanging and/or causing an obstruction to the footway. Generally speaking there should be a minimal clearance of 2.5M height on the footway and 5M on the c/w.
    Is the vegetation you are referring to overhanging in to the footway or carriageway? If so exactly where is the location as our Highways Officer was unable to locate any obstructions caused by vegetation. he will happily visit again if you can give us the details - thanks.
