Wrongly painted line
Reported via Android in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 17:34, Tuesday 11 May 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The lines at the junction of Waverley Avenue and Edinburgh Drive have recently been repainted, but once again the middle line is curved rather than straight. This means that vehicles coming out of the cul-de-sac and going straight on towards Bicester road, the A34 and M40, are forced to cross the centre line as they continue on along Waverley Avenue. As vehicles coming out of the cul-de-sac are entitled to go either left or straight on at this junction, there is no reason why the centre line should be curved.
