Road signage and obstructed view at T junction
Reported via mobile in the Grass category anonymously at 14:30, Tue 11 May 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
First photo shows the junction warning sign out of use. This has been in this condition in excess of two years. The second photo shows the vision for a driver attempting to view traffic approaching from the left (Lechlade) which is obscured due to overgrown blackthorn hedge The third photo shows same view with the nose of the vehicle needing to be over the give way lines still attempting to view oncoming traffic from the left (Lechlade) at same T junction but the view is still obstructed requiring dangerous manoeuvre needed to join A417 toward Farringdon. Please note that at this junction the view at the same give way line FROM Farringdon direction is a blind corner after @ 70 yards.

Neither of the issues I reported in May have been addressed. I was hooted at this morning because I have to pull over the give way lines to actually see traffic coming from my left. This is only getting worse as the hedges are now growing quickly. It is not good enough just verge trimming and hedge trimming AROUND and signage because the vegetation is growing up and hiding all the signs. This is the third time I have raised these issues. I am now requesting a completion date please?
