Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 11:29, Mon 10 May 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
A message has been left on Town Council's answer machine that there is a hole in the pavement, at the end of Hensington Road near Hope House. There is a wooden plate in the tarmac which has a hole, difficult to know how deep as when noticed it was full of water. The caller reported that this hole is a potential trip hazard.

This dangerous hole was reported by me on line to OCC, by phone to OCC and (on their advice) to the Police on Friday 7th around 1650. It is very disappointing that it it still there - it is extremely dangerous and the cone (which I initially placed is not always there!). There will be broken limbs or head injuries from it before long if not made safe and secure (the last time this happened a bright yellow/orange cover was fixed on it very quickly) It is also disappointing to report it in 3 ways and to be asked to report it again by email and even worse to find it unattended to.
