Cherry tree causing subsidence to 38 Westfield Rd, Witney

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 11:58, Thursday 6 May 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Cottsway Housing have been monitoring a property with subsidence for 2 years including undertaken a arbo tree survey & structural report. The two repots both recommend that the mature cherry tree be felled. The tree is located within a verge that is owned by Highways. Cottsway is willing to pay for the removal of the tree but would require Highways permission to do so. Can you please confirm that you give permission for Cottsway to fell the tree or if you require any further information.
