Approx 18 feet of the bank is encroaching on the pavement in Gravel Hill just above the junction with Deanfield Road and continuing up towards Ancastle Green. The accumulation of soil, ivy, dead leaves and self sown saplings is covering about half the width of the footpath. This makes it dangerous for eg parents with pushchairs and children. The fenceposts at roughly 2m intervals show where the edge of the footpath should be. The upper section was cleared of most of the accumulated leaves in February but this section is too dense and overgrown for leaf clearing.

Nothing has been done so far. The self seeded saplings are growing.
