Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The signage at the end of Mayfield Road onto Banbury Road indicates no entry however on the reverse side it indicates traffic can travel both way.
The are several incidents a day when vehicles travel the wrong way down Mayfield Road. There have been several near misses.
There was a near miss today where a EasyHotel contractor van travelled at speed the wrong way down Mayfield Road just missing a car exiting the school. The van then reversed at speed into the school drop off area. This was all done when 4 to 8 year old were walking to school. This was captured on CCTV.

The two way traffic warning sign shown in the photograph (on the reverse of the no entry signs) in Mayfield Road indicates that the short 13 metre section of Mayfield road between the sign and the kerbline of the Banbury Road is two way, whereas the rest of the road (east of the sign) is one way
