This hedge has not been cut for many years, despite requests to farmer who rents the orchards from Grove Farm. Most people look forward to the summer but we dread it because of this. It is very depressing, especially for my disabled husband, to look out of the lounge window and only see a sea of overgrown hedge and not a glimpse of sky. It affects the light in our house, causes interference with the electricity supply, causes chaos with fallen branches in the road if it is windy and denies us two hours of evening sun. All in all, it makes life very miserable for us.
