Dangerous corner (due to bad driving)

Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:54, Wed 21 April 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

We have been living by this location for 18 months and our windows overlook this road corner.

On a daily basis there are near misses/ vehicles blasting their horns at each other due to vehicles either cutting the corner (travelling towards the country road) or cornering wide (when entering the 20mph road). Last year a cyclist and a car had an accident which we had to perform first aid on the cyclist.

Is there anything what can be done to make this corner less dangerous? Constructing a chicane on the 60mph section leading to the corner? More signage? Your guidance would be appreciated.

I would be happy to meet someone to discuss in person, thank you.
