Traffic lights on Woodstock Road (Out of Oxford) are faulty

The traffic lights on Woodstock road leading out of oxford ( set closest to the M&S garage) are faulty. They have a very long wait and allow a very short period of time to cross the road which could cause a collision

  • Thank you for your recent report regarding the Wolvercote roundabout traffic signal junction. An engineer has visited site and checked the operation of he crossing which forms part of the signal junction. He found it to be working as intended and without any current faults. The pedestrian green time is the invitation to start to cross which is followed by a period of time extended by pedestrians established on the crossing before vehicles receive a green. As the crossing is part of the junction, pedestrian wait times are linked to how busy the junction is.
