Hedge overgrowing the highway causing an issue for three houses pulling onto Wood Lane

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 11:34, Friday 16 April 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedge at the front of Coombe Norton has (over time) extended onto the highway verge. It has been raised by the family living in Kano and Myrtle Cottage as a problem, particularly when pulling out of their drives onto Wood Lane. It will also effect family living in Norton Lee who share access with Myrtle Cottage. Although the hedge is well tended I believe it has been allowed to grow out too far and therefore is considered a risk to highway safety. The telegraph pole and chevron road sign are surrounded by the conifer hedge which to my mind indicates that it has encroached on the highway.
