Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is a build up of rubbish and vegetation at the gully in the stream at this corner of North Hinksey Lane again. This needs to be cleared to prevent flooding risk

  • Looking the photograph this wouldn't be considered a flood risk in it's current state. The majority of the grills height is clear and will offer a good rate of through flow. I have therefore added it to the low priority list for clearing.

  • More rubbish is collecting in grille forming a blockage this needs more regular attention

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The grill is there to stop the debris going down the culvert. The most recent photos you have posted show that the grill is doing it's job quite nicely and in it's current state is not considered to be impeding the flow of water as most of the grill is clear. No action will be taken at this stage but the grill will be checked when Inspectors are in the area and action taken if necessary.
