Speed reduction monitors tampered with.
Reported via desktop in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 14:25, Thursday 15 April 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
A Digital speed monitoring and warning device was installed in Winter Lane, West Hanney, appropriately 2 years ago.
The device was fitted correctly facing the traffic as it entered the village from the Southmoor direction to alert drivers to reduce speed on entering the built up area.
In the last few days the warning device has been tampered with and is now facing the wrong way thus not encouraging traffic to slow down on entering the village.
