Footpath on end of bridge over A34, on Bagley Wood Road is in a very bad way very large cracks causing a trip hazzard for pedestrians

The public footpath over the bridge is in need of urgent repair work, it is a dangerous trip hazzard as it is with no markings to warn people. This footpath has been neglected for a long time and also has weeds and grass almost across the whole path as you walk along in the Chandlings school direction. The speed limit on this stretch of road is 60mph and cars as so often parked on the footpaths in this area, making it very dangerous as we have had to walk in the road to pass. I have photo's but they won't download onto this site today?

I also informed Highways England, who are responsible for this bridge's structure, requesting they repair it.
