Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
We do not understand why speeding is still being overlooked, despite this being raised by so many residents. The fact that there is also a park and school located on this road says enough when it comes to the concern. Since the speed bump was lowered, it has become a very dangerous place in Thame. Urgent action required.

Thank you for your enquiry. As you note, Park street has some traffic calming features such as the speed bump. If, as you suggest, the speed of vehicles using Park Street is of a significant concern then, primarily it would be for Thames Valley Police to determine if this is a location that they would prioritise for a form of speed enforcement. Thames Valley Police can be contacted on the non emergency number 101. In addition (and if you haven't already) the Town Council are also best placed to determine if Park Street is a priority for vehicles travelling too fast within the wider area that they look after. If so they could highlight this location, over and above any others in their area, as well as being well placed to promote / support further consideration of this location.
