Street Lighting Column Number 13

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category by IAN LOADER at 17:20, Friday 9 April 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Lantern has pivoted about 30 degrees from the horizontal towards West Bar direction and is causing disability glare to motorists heading west and discomfort glare to adjacent houses. This is a conservation area where an update to LED lighting with Cut-Off distribution should be required. We have installed a bat box in adjacent trees at the insistence of Cherwell Council as conditional for recent building improvement work and this indiscriminate lighting distribution is not conducive to their well being or ourselves where the lighting penetrates are bedroom
