Signage for oncoming buses. The problem is that the existing signs are 3 lampposts before the problem and there is so much going on in that stretch of road with random parked cars, oncoming traffic in the niddle of the road, that driver's eyes do not see the signs. Maybe these should be pictorial and repeated closer to the problem.

  • Thank you for your report. The signage for this situation follows the guidance regarding this type of hazard, a repeater sign closer to the turn would not be beneficial as it would be to close to the hazard to react to the sign. However the vegetation around these signs has been ordered to be cut back so that the signs are more visible to the road users.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
