Ramp for 75/77 Wantage Road damaging vehicles
Reported via desktop in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 18:14, Mon 5 April 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Fergal Contracting Ltd has been carrying out works on Wantage Rd. The ramps they have put in at the end of some drives are not fit for purpose and vehicle undersides are being damaged. They have placed some mats (shown) to try to reduce the problem but it is not sufficient. I spoke to their contracts manager Chris Hazell on 07530260808 and he is unwilling to fix the issue properly, saying the Council need to foot the bill. So far the damage to my vehicle looks superficial but I will hold the Council and Fergal Contracting liable if any repairs to my vehicle are needed.
