Confusing speed limit signage

Reported via Android in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 05:41, Sunday 28 March 2021

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The A4130 as you enter the Slade end roundabout on to Calvin Thomas way states 40mph. Along this road there is 1 or 2 40mph repeater signs. Upon approach to Hithercroft roundabout there is a national speed limit repeater sign. There is no large national speed limit sign saying that the 40mph has ended. Very confusing. Yet going from Hithercroft roundabout towards Slade end roundabout there are many repeater 40mph signs.
