Trench pothole suddenly getting deeper close to Thrupp Lane entrance in Radley
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 12:03, Thursday 25 March 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
A "Trench" pothole suddenly seems to be getting deeper. This "trench" (a previous road repair) has been there for years, but suddenly driving over it is significantly more noticeable. Road appears to be wearing away in the 'repair' and assessment is required. The "trench" is located adjacent to the entrance to Thrupp Lane in Radley close to the junction with Whites Lane. Trench exetnds over the full width of the Radley road.

Additional info: Issue mainly affecting the Abingdon-bound carriageway. Visually may not look like an issue, but road has deteriorated as is evident when driving over the "trench", and is therefore likely to get worse as HGVs and buses pass over this area.

Part of "trench" (Radley bound carriageway) has been marked for work (thanks!), presumably the bit assessed as being worst. In fact the Abingdon-bound carriageway (not marked for repair) is giving a significant "bump" when driven over...
