Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Clive Road has been trialling for the last few weeks, road-blocking cars, only allowing bicycles. My husband has been sitting outside for a couple of hours now looking after our son who is playing with the neighbourhood children and they have witnessed various cars pushing through the road blockage to reach Rymmers Lane pretty much every two minutes. We though the kids would be safe playing ball on the road, but it looks like drivers are taking matters into their own hands and doing as they please. If the road block is going ahead it will need something heavier to contain those angry drivers. Many thanks.

There is still a problem here : the council signs between the planters have been stolen, so that cars can illegally drive through while we wait for the expected bollard. A chair has been placed in the gap, but car and van drivers are moving it out of the way, and arguing with the (primary school aged) children who are trying to play in the road. We've been told a bollard was supposed to be placed shortly after the planters, but it seems to have been forgotten.

Central planter is still missing - saw several vans and cars passing through ignoring the "No motor vehicles" signs today.

It seems some cones were added this morning, and removed within half an hour. My child replaced them so that they could play in the street, and a taxi driver has just removed the cones again and had a go at the kids. Please can the actual bollard be installed ASAP.

I am reporting the hazardous state of the pavements on Clive Road. LTNS are supposed to promote walking but walking is unsafe due to the potential for trips and falls.

There are now two families screaming at each other in the street about the cones. One remove them, and are furious with anyone who replaces them. If it gets worse someone is going to have to call the police. Please could we have a proper non removable remedy before someone gets hurt.
